The Biopik®
A polymer
This highly biocompatible polymer loaded with βTCP and titanium dioxide features intrinsic biocompatibility and a unique surface treatment. The polymer’s efficacy is enhanced by its bioactive bone growth stimulating qualities. It is slightly flexible to minimize stress at the interface with the bone and flawlessly supports the dental prosthesis.
Safety
BIOPIK® contains no hazardous trace metals, so there are no heterogeneous ion pairs. BIOPIK® keeps toxicity and allergy risks to a minimum.
No contraindication
BIOPIK® is not a contraindication for radiological exams such as CT scans and MRIs. There is no need to remove the implant for this type of procedure.
Qualities
Covalent bonds develop between BIOPIK® and the cells and their molecular chains. The superior qualities of this new material result in cortical bone growth upon contact with the implant. This is visible in 3D because the polymer is slightly radiopaque.
