The THETA Implant
This is a one-piece implant 4.8 mm in diameter. The abutment can be cut and adjusted in the mouth. It is inserted by gentle friction to ensure primary fixation. This implant can be inserted to two different heights: 12 – 15 mm.
Indications
- Posterior sector
- Inserted post-extraction
- Hard, dense bone
- Single root replacement
- Possibility of immediate loading with splinting and underfunction
- Single-piece abutment can be cut in the mouth to adjust for evenness, height and aesthetics
Contraindications
- Thin ridge (use IOTA implants or do an osteotomy)
- Bone height less than 11 mm (do a graft and re-assess)
