The TEX Implant
The implant for thin ridges, low bone height of 7 to 9 mm. It comes with 3 abutments, and can be separated while in the sealed sterile pouch No. 2 to accommodate different numbers of missing teeth.
The abutments can be cut and adjusted in the mouth to adjust the height or the axis of insertion.
Indications
- Thin ridges
- Bone height greater than 7 mm.
- All types of bones D1 D2 D3 D4.
- Posterior jaw areas.
- Sub-sinus areas.
- Immediate loading of the temporary prosthesis with strict control of subocclusion and splinting during healing.
- Abutments can be cut in the mouth to adjust the height and the axis of insertion.
Contraindications
- Ultra thin knife blade ridges: do an onlay graft and reassess the site at four months.
- Wide, high bone: use THETA or TAU implants depending on the type of bone.
- Bone height greater than 12 mm and ridges wider than 5 mm: Consider using IOTA, TAU or THETA implants.
- Available space less than 15 mm in length and less than 3 mm in thickness: do a ridge expansion before placing the implant.
